2. Observe which station on the assembly line is the bottleneck station:

The operation time of the bottleneck station becomes the cycle time of the actual output of the entire assembly line, and the daily output formula is as follows:
Daily output = actual working time of the whole day / actual cycle time
Therefore, as long as the on-site cadres reduce their working time, they can significantly increase the output, such as taking some parts to other stations, using tools to save movement, improving the configuration of the work area, etc. However, after the bottleneck station is solved, a new bottleneck station may appear, so this new bottleneck station needs to be improved. Therefore, if you continue to focus on the improvement of the bottleneck station, the efficiency of the entire assembly line will increase day by day.
3. Observe the cycle time of the board receiving at the last station of the assembly line, that is, the cycle time of the actual output. The cycle time of this station must be equal to the bottleneck station. From this station, the efficiency of this assembly line can be calculated. The formula is as follows:
Efficiency = input cycle time / actual cycle time = working time of the first station / working time of the last station
Of course, it can also be calculated by the operating time of the bottleneck station, but it is always simpler and more practical to observe the last station.
The amount of work in process on the line is equal to:
(Working time of the last station - Working time of the first station)* (Working time of the whole day / Working time of the last station)
4. Observation of utilization rate
Utilization rate = time at work / working time in the whole day

5. Sitting on the seat of the assembly line operator does not mean that he is working seriously, so the last thing is to observe the working speed of each operator. Speed is a very abstract concept. Establish a standard speed, and it is good to be faster than it. The movements are streamlined, fixed and rhythmically, and often have a good working speed, otherwise it is not good, so it is easier to observe.
Assembly line work is either fast or good, and its movements must have added value, so it depends on whether the movements are simple and concise, so the concept of the principle of movement economy is required. Its principles are as follows:
1. Movement: Make the material automatically reach the desired position, shorten the moving distance, reduce the weight of the items to be moved, avoid objects around the moving path that will hinder the movement, tilt the material box to shorten the distance around the edge, etc.
2. Grip: The materials in the material box should be arranged as neatly as possible, do not pile up in a cluttered way, and reserve the space for grasping things that are inconvenient to take.
3. Front: Same as gripping, the materials in the material box can be arranged as neatly as possible, and do not pile up in a disorderly manner.
4. Assembling: Replace manual work with governance tools.
5. Use: To fully automate machinery, etc.

Pipeline installation precautions:
The graphic design of the assembly line should ensure that the transportation route of the parts is the shortest, the production workers are easy to operate, the auxiliary service department is convenient to work, the production area is used most effectively, and the interconnection between the assembly line installations is considered. In order to meet these requirements, issues such as the form of the assembly line and the arrangement method of the assembly line installation work site should be considered in the layout of the assembly line.
When the assembly line is installed, the arrangement of the working places should conform to the process route. When the process has more than two working places, the arrangement method of the working places of the same process should be considered. Generally, when there are two or more even-numbered work sites of the same type, a double-column arrangement should be considered, and they are divided into two examples of the transportation route.
